What is TOPSoccer?
TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any child who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the ASA Soccer family.
The ASA TOPSoccer program focuses on team participation and having fun. The program is available for children ages 5 through 18 and their families.
When is the program offered?
Fall and spring each year.
This is approximately a seven-week program beginning in April and September during the soccer seasons each year. TOPSoccer takes place on Sunday afternoons at The Miracle Field, across from the Nannie J. Lee Recreation Center, throughout the duration of the regular soccer season. Volunteers are always welcome to help out.
