Advanced Evening Camp

 Advanced Evening Camps
Ages 8-15

ASA's Advanced Evening Camps provide our Academy players an opportunity to focus on specific training topics that fit into the club's curriculum during a week of intense development.

U13 and older players will begin each evening with a 60 minute session led by our Director of Injury Prevention & Fitness, Jennifer Schwartz-Biggle (Coach Jenn). This is an opportunity for players to participate in a calculated sport performance optimization routine over the five (5) evenings. Included in the 60 minute session will be core work, speed training, resistance training, footwork and plyometrics.

Goalkeeper Training Focus: Goalkeepers are encouraged to join the Advanced Evening camp for a week of specialty keeper training. Focus will be on shot stopping technique, agility, reactions and awareness. Goalkeepers will be trained in how to save shots from different angles, proper footwork to prepare the body and hands, communication techniques to organize the defense and understand how to distribute the ball to your teammates to build the play and start the attack.
