Coach Fred coached at PWSI for several years before joining ASA to work alongside "The Great Grigor Boychev" in a number of programs such as; Junior Academy, Ball Mastery, AGP and the Academy.
Fred played at LMVSC in the 70s and played at both Bishop Ireton and Grovetown High School before taking time off due to injuries and pursing an amateur cycling career. He rekindled his love of the game in the mid-90's and then began coaching few years later. Fred found he enjoyed coaching almost as much as playing!
Fred says he is lucky to have a vast and diverse family from Australia to England. He enjoys cheering for Manchester United on behalf of his English relatives and FC Barcelona for his mother's ancestry. He loves spending time with his nieces and nephews, goddaughter and godsons—especially since they are all soccer fans. One of his godsons has spent time at PSG's academy camp, and has a former teammate playing at West Ham. Coach Fred forgives him for cheering on both teams.
