Private Training
Individual & Small Group
Small groups are structured by age & experience, capped at five players per session.
Individual and small group private soccer training is available for soccer participants ages 8-19. Private training is open to all soccer players regardless of their current program or club. Training sessions focus on specific skills, individualized for each participant or small group.
Areas of Focus:
- Finishing — confidence & scoring execution
- Passing — ability to execute various types of passes over distance
- Dribbling — confidence on the ball
- First Touch — ability to receive the ball with all parts of the foot
- Attacking Principles — understanding the role of 1st & 2nd attacker
- Defending Principles — understanding the role of 1st & 2nd defender
Training Will Include:
- Speed, agility, and/or endurance training
- Situational awareness (how to read the game and what that means/looks like)
- Mental performance
- Reaction drills
Coach David Drafton
Coach David is a former ASA Academy participant who has returned to the Alexandria area after playing and coaching across the US and England. He coaches in ASA's Academy futsal and Academy soccer programs.
Register for this program in Demosphere by selecting “Individual / Small Group Training.” The registration is free and will not require payment. If your child is interested in small group training please note the other participant’s names when registering. Small group sessions are capped at 5 participants. Coach David will then reach out to set up a training schedule that works for you.
