David Drafton

Coach David is a former ASA youth player as well as a front office intern with the club back in 2015. He played for various clubs in northern Virginia before playing collegiate soccer at Eastern Mennonite University where he was named to the All-ODAC Third team and NCAA Division 3 All Star Selection Team in his senior season. Since then David has worked with various clubs and players on the East Coast in addition to starting his own soccer club in Wisconsin. He also has experience playing and coaching internationally in England. David is currently coaching in ASA's Academy futsal and Academy soccer programs, as well as developing an individual training curriculum.

As he settles into his coaching role at ASA, Coach David is looking forward to continuing to grow and mentor soccer players of all ages on and off the field and share insight as to what players can do after they are done playing youth club soccer. He's also looking forward to continuing his own personal development as a coach and leader and start building towards the next step of his professional career!
