David Drafton

Coach David is a former ASA youth player as well as a former front office intern with the club back in 2015. He also played for SYC's top team before playing collegiate soccer at Eastern Mennonite University where he was a consistent starter all four years, and was named All-ODAC Third team / NCAA Division 3 All Star Selection Team his senior season. Since then David has worked with various clubs and players on the East Coast in addition to starting his own soccer club in Wisconsin. He also has experience playing and coaching internationally in England. David is currently coaching in ASA's Academy and futsal soccer programs, as well as working with players interested in private training.

As someone that believes watching the game at all levels helps with technical and tactical understanding, coach David is constantly watching and studying the game in order to help players reach the best versions of themselves. He loves to challenge players to think at a high level and focus on small details that can positively transform their game.
