Jim Hogan
Deputy Director of Tournaments & Programs
As the Deputy Director of Tournaments and Programs, Jim provides strategic leadership across the entire club. His primary focus is on expanding the reach and quality of our core initiatives, including but certainly not limited to ASA tournaments, Recreation League, Access4All program, Futsal League, Development Academy, and Camps. Having joined ASA full-time in 2013, Jim has been intimately involved in starting and building many of these programs from the ground up. Today, he works closely with our program managers to maximize the positive impact ASA makes in local neighborhoods and the surrounding communities.
Before making ASA his professional home, he spent eight years at DC United, working in their sales department from 2005 to 2013. This role allowed him to transition into the sports business world immediately after graduating from Keene State College in New Hampshire, where he also played collegiate soccer. Over the years, he has spent countless hours on the fields and courts coaching in the same programs he now oversees.
When he is not cheering on his own kids at their activities, his family loves to travel. Some of his favorite destinations include trips back to New England, relaxing on Mid-Atlantic beaches, skiing, exploring America's beautiful National Parks and experiencing travel to various international countries.
