Katie Brooks

As Deputy Director, PR & Communications at ASA Katie oversees all marketing and strategic communications at the club. She works closely with each program director to craft messaging, digital and print media, general communication, graphics and more. Her responsibilities include producing engaging content, developing partnerships with thought leaders and community organizations, and helping educate the community about program offerings, success stories, team highlights and the greater #ASACommunity. 

Since joining the ASA team in 2017 Katie has worked to streamline all aspects of branding and communications and develop a recognizable brand presence in the community. Part of this included developing an Annual Report to share with community members. Have you seen our new Impact Map?! She's also the "face" of ASA social media channels and encourages you to reach out and say "hi!"

Prior to working at ASA Katie led communications at an international non-profit and an architecture firm. She earned her bachelor's degree from William Jewell College and a Master's in Media & Communications from Florida State University. Katie currently holds her USSF "C" Coaching License and when she's not watching soccer or on the fields she spends her time gardening, quilting and taking photos of her cats.
