Pedro Paiva
Special Programs & International Trips Director
In his role as Special Programs & International Trips Director Pedro manages both domestic and international travel for the club, drawing on over 21 years of experience in the sports industry.
Originally from Brazil, Pedro spent many years working remotely before relocating to the DMV with his family, where he now works full-time from the ASA office. His background spans some notable stops in the soccer world: he served as Marketing Manager for D.C. United, worked with CSM Special Projects during the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and ran Gol Brasil Consulting, through which he helped connect over 2,000 athletes to opportunities across multiple countries. He holds an MBA from American University's Kogod School of Business, and was recently selected as a Mentor for the UEFA Academy Alumni Association (UEFA AAA) Mentorship Program, supporting the next generation of football industry leaders.
Pedro's passion for the club runs through his whole family, his two sons are active in the Academy program, and the both of them volunteer and coach together for Junior Academy, Ball Mastery, and work at ASA special events. Outside of work, Pedro plays squash and makes the most of time with his wife, Sara, and their two boys, especially when it involves a good movie, good music, or cooking for family and friends.
