Michael Gaines

Coach Michael grew up in Oxon Hill, MD and played locally in the DC United Academy through middle and high school. He recently finished his four-year collegiate career at Penn State University where he was a part of the 2021 Big Ten Men's regular season and Big Ten tournament championship teams while also making three NCAA Tournament appearances. Coach Michael is entering his second year coaching with ASA and also serve as an assistant coach for American University’s Women’s Soccer team. He enjoys developing players and seeing kids realize the potential in themselves to improve every day! In his off time Coach Michael enjoys traveling the world.
