Coach Christy was born and raised in New Jersey, but has called the DMV home since 2018. As a youth player, she won a USYS NJ State Cup, Region 1, and National Championship in 2011 and an ECNL National Championship in 2013 as part of the PDA Slammers. She went on to play Division I soccer at Rutgers University, captaining the team in her senior year. Post-college she continued to play with the USLW Marauders FC, ASA Women's Futsal Pro team, and with other competitive women's programs in the area.
"Soccer is my passion and through coaching I am able to share my love for the game with others," says Christy. She previously served as an Assistant & Head Coach for Women's Soccer at Washington Adventist University (2022-2024) and as an Assistant Coach for Women's Soccer at George Mason University (2024-2026). She has been with ASA since 2024 and currently coaches our WPSL Red's team and 07/08 Girls Academy team.
When she's not playing or coaching, Christy and husband love to be active & watch soccer! Their favorite hobbies include: cycling & being outdoors, supporting Man City, and going to Washington Spirit matches.
