Colin Nelson

Coach Colin grew up in State College, PA and played four years of collegiate soccer at Waynesburg University. He is a member of the most successful class in school history including a first postseason appearance in almost a decade. In addition to playing, Colin was a USSF and collegiate referee. He has refereed games in USL, Division 1 and USYS Region 1 Championships.

Colin has four years of coaching experience that has branched across multiple sports and age levels. He enjoys seeing the development of players over the entirety of a season. His favorite moments are at the end of a season when he has an opportunity to highlight the improvements each player has made.

In his spare time, Colin watches various European leagues and has recently started watching Formula 1 racing. An interesting fact about him is that he had two weddings in six months and on two continents.
