Coach Desiree (Des) has been playing soccer since she was four years old and began playing travel when she was eight. This fall she begins her third year as the head coach of girls soccer at Bishop Ireton High School. She's excited to join ASA and assist the 2013 Girls Academy team, in addition to continuing to play on three coed adult teams!
Des loves coaching because it allows her to teach kids everything she has learned over the years, along with instilling confidence and motivation in her players. Coaching also allows her to keep learning a different version of the sport that has helped mold her into the person that she is today, and helps her keep growing as a player.
