Originally from Long Island, New York, Coach Gavin has been involved in high level athletics his entire life. From playing academy soccer for Bellmore/Merrick FC & Farmingdale Academy FC all through high school to transitioning to and competing in track & field at the Division 1 level for Hofstra University. Most recently, he's worked for the past two years in the NCAA Leadership Program, giving him lots of experience working with athletes at the highest level.
Having completed a Masters student at Georgetown University studying Sports Management, Coach Gavin has worked with many different soccer programs in the community as he continues his journey here in Alexandria.
Gavin will be working as assistant coach and opposition scouting and analysis lead for the Alexandria Reds this summer in addition to traveling to different countries and leagues to continue that scouting journey... he's been to Lisbon, Frankfurt, Copenhagen so far!
