OrthoVirginia Announced as ASA Program Partner

Alexandria, Virginia — Alexandria Soccer Association is thrilled to announce OrthoVirginia as a program partner for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. OrthoVirginia, the state’s largest provider of orthopedic and therapy care, is the new uniform sponsor of the ASA Adult Leagues and will be providing athletic training support at a large number of ASA Leagues & Tournaments.

“We are excited to be the sports medicine partner of Alexandria Soccer Association,” said Dr. Ben Kittredge, OrthoVirginia sports medicine physician. “This partnership further demonstrates our commitment to our community by providing high quality, easily accessible sports medicine and orthopedic care to our friends and neighbors on and off the field.”

ASA’s Adult Leagues provide year round soccer and futsal experiences to hundreds of people ages 19 and over in the community. Staying active and fit is important at any age and ASA and OrthoVirginia both believe in offering that opportunity to youth and adults of all ages.

OrthoVirginia’s mission is to improve the musculoskeletal health and well-being of those who live in our communities. They’ve committed to providing high quality, cost-effective musculoskeletal care to patients through both current and innovative techniques. ASA strives to be the gold standard for community based soccer clubs — creating a lifelong love of soccer and impacting the community beyond the sport. Partnering with OrthoVirginia ensures that ASA participants have access to gold standard medical support and that every family will be equipped and empowered to support the well-being of their children.

ASA participants at various ages will now have added health and safety support at adult and youth league game days where OrthoVirginia athletic trainers are on site. Keep an eye out for brand new OrthoVirginia adult jersey’s as ASA rolls them out for the 2020 adult futsal league!
