AGP focuses on individual and small group development drills to increase kids' technical skills and understanding of the game.

3rd — 6th grade

The Alexandria Growth Program (AGP) bridges the experience between the Recreational League and Academy programs for 3rd – 6th graders. The AGP is for players interested in trying out for the Academy in the future OR for kids looking for an extra practice + game per week in a structured environment with professional coaches.

Participants are grouped into teams that will compete against Rec+ teams from other clubs in the area. There will be 7 games per season!

Spring Details

The program runs from March 19 – May 18!

Games:

  • Scrimmage Fest or Tournament Included
  • All games are local (Alexandria and DC)
  • Game Dates =  March 30 – May 18 (No Games April 20)

Project Practice Schedule

Practices will take place at Four Mile Run field.

Wednesday:

  • 5:30-6:30pm — Boys 5th & 6th grades; Girls 3rd – 6th grades
    6:30-7:30pm — Boys 3rd & 4th grades

Thursday:

  • 5:30-6:30pm — Boys 3rd & 4th grades
    6:30-7:30pm — Boys 5th & 6th grades; Girls 3rd – 6th grades

Please note that one game and one practice may be cancelled per season due to weather. If more than one game or one practice is cancelled due to weather we will attempt to provide makeup dates

AGP Refund Policy: ASA will process refund requests before the first game of the season. You will receive the amount you paid minus the non-refundable credit card service fee. No refunds will be given after the first weekend of games has been played.
