ASA partners with Australian Futsal Academy

Alexandria Soccer Association’s (ASA) Futsal Program is thrilled to announce an exclusive partnership with Eastcoast Futsal Academy, based in Port Macquarie, Australia. This partnership will open opportunities for ASA player development and travel through programs, curriculum sharing and competition opportunities.

Eastcoast Futsal Academy trains at the beautiful Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium and offers several levels of programming. Their elite futsal academy has begun preparations and training and teams will travel to the United States next winter for the America’s Cup Series, Futsal Cup.

The academy kicked off their training with a day of baseline testing to better understand how they can fine tune and improve each player throughout the season. Eastcoast Futsal boasts several national women’s futsal titles and is looking to build off this success in the future.

Eastcoast’s Director Mick Day said, “We are very excited and honored to be partnered with Alexandria Soccer Association. Both Eastcoast and ASA have the same strong values and commitment to player development and this partnership will offer unlimited opportunities for players to develop their skills & build character and friendships, nationally and internationally.”

In addition to players traveling between the two clubs to compete and train, this partnership opens the opportunity for players from both academies to compete internationally in Europe and Brazil.

Tommy Park, ASA Executive Director said, “ASA is excited to welcome Eastcoast futsal to our family! Connecting two nationally recognized futsal programs from opposite sides of the globe will open the door for life changing experiences for youth and adults in both clubs.”

Look for more to come as this partnership unfolds and develops!
