In-House Referee Courses

Training Dates & Locations:

  • Sunday, March 8 — 1:00-3:30pm @ Brenman Field

ASA’s In-House Referee Certification is an introductory opportunity for individuals interested in getting started as referees. Participants must be at least 12 years old to register. After completing the course, participants will be eligible to officiate games in select ASA programs, including Junior Academy, the Recreational League, and Metro Community League.

Futsal Certification

Who Can Participate

  • Must have a current U.S. Soccer referee certification
  • Must be age 13+

 

Futsal referees are eligible to referee in the Futsal Premier League, ASA’s Rec  Futsal League, Capitol Futsal Cup and other futsal events.

Referee Abuse Prevention

U.S. Soccer’s Referee Abuse Prevention Policy (Policy 531-9) is designed to make youth and amateur matches safer, more fun, and more empowering for everyone involved. Referee abuse will not be tolerated. We’re asking everyone to do their part by knowing the rules, reporting referee abuse, and embodying behaviors that represent the best of us.
