Katie Alonso

Coach Katie is a mom of three little humans. She has been coaching youth soccer & high school sports for varying ages and levels over the past 10+ years. In addition to coaching, she works as a reading specialist full-time in Alexandria City Public Schools with over 14 years experience.

She grew up in Alexandria, VA, and played for a few of the top clubs in Northern, VA. Additionally, she played Virginia State and WAGS, also winning nationals at Bishop O'Connell. Collegiately, she played Division 3 lacrosse at Lynchburg University and received her BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in elementary education, while playing club soccer all four years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
