Joe Newman

As the owner and operator of a small IT business in Southern Maryland, Coach Joe has a passion for both technology and soccer. His coaching journey began over 10 years ago when he started coaching youth soccer teams. Since then, Coach Joe has achieved a USSF "C" License and helped the Henry E. Lackey Varsity Boys soccer team to historic victories—including the first Charles County team to win the SMAC Championship and their first Regional title since 1986. As a coach, he prioritizes player development and creating a positive team culture. Joe's background in business and technology also allows him to bring a unique perspective to coaching strategies and team management.
