Andrew has been coaching with ASA since 2017 and has primarily been involved with the futsal program. Coach Andrew often has multiple futsal teams and enjoys participating in major futsal events as a coach for the club and a player for the Men's Futsal team. For a previous club, he won Northeast Futsal Regionals as both a player and a coach and has won the Virginia Futsal State Cup with ASA. Outside of Alexandria, he currently coaches with division 1 Loyola University Maryland Women's Soccer after spending one year with Notre Dame of Maryland University's Women's Soccer program and six years with Howard Community College's Women's Soccer program. While Coach Andrew's college schedule keeps him busy during the college playing season, you are sure to bump into him throughout the winter futsal season.
Like plenty of other soccer coaches, soccer is his life. His family has always been a soccer family with him and his two sisters growing up playing in the Maryland area. Although he elected not to play in college, he and his family spent their time traveling and supporting his two sisters who both played division 1 soccer. One of them was fortunate enough to go on to play professionally, most recently retiring as a member of the hometown team, Washington Spirit. Andrew enjoys the many different soccer connections he has made coaching, playing, and being a member of a soccer family.
Coach Andrew currently holds a US Soccer C License as well as a Futsal Diploma. He is also a certified referee for both the outdoor and futsal games and has even refereed a college game in an emergency!
