Gabriel Crawford-Torres

Coach Gabriel was born in Colombia, and moved to the United States in June 2001. He played goalkeeper for the varsity soccer team at Wakefield High School. He has been coaching recreational and competitive soccer since the fall of 2010 and fell in love with coaching and working with kids. Coach Gabriel enjoys coaching because he gets to make a positive impact on youth players, helping them to learn, improve and master the fundamentals of the game.

When he's not coaching, Gabriel enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and their dog Lola. A fun fact about him is that his great grandfather from his father’s side was from Jamaica, and migrated to Colombia to find new opportunities. Gabriel still has relatives in Jamaica but has not met them yet.
