General Information
Teams Withdrawing and Refund Policy
FULL SIDED:
Teams who withdraw prior to January 26, 2024 will be charge a $100 administration fee.
Teams who withdraw withdraw between January 27, 2024 and February 9, 2024 will be charge a $200 administrative fee.
No refunds will be provided to teams withdrawing after February 20, 2024.
SMALL SIDED:
Teams who withdraw prior to February 16, 2024 will be charge a $100 administration fee.
Teams who withdraw withdraw between February 17, 2024 and February 23, 2024 will be charge a $200 administrative fee.
No refunds will be provided to teams withdrawing after February 24, 2024.
Inclement Weather Policy
All teams must show up ready to play at the field site, regardless of weather, unless otherwise directed by ASK.
Matches will be forfeited if a team does not show as scheduled. Only ASK officials or referees may cancel or postpone a match. In the case of severe weather, the referee and/or field marshal may suspend a match based on judgment. For thunder and lightning that occurs after the beginning of play, the referee and/or field marshal will suspend the match for a period of 30 minutes. If the weather conditions are unsafe for play after 30 minutes, the match will be terminated. Additional time will not be added in the event of a delay. If a game is in the second half, the score at the time the game is suspended will be considered final. Incomplete games will be rescheduled or cancelled, as decided by the ASK committee.
Cancellation Policy
If the entire event/tournament weekend is cancelled by Alexandria Soccer Association for any reason, accepted teams will receive up to 50% refund of the registration fee, after all fixed costs are covered.
No refunds will be given if any games are played on the tournament weekend.
Alexandria Soccer has teamed up with HBC Event Services to offer discounted hotel accommodations for this event. This is a stay-to-play tournament — all hotel reservations must be made through HBC Event Services.
- 9U – 12U | group stage games will have one (1) referee
- 13U and older | group games will be scheduled with three (3) referee’s for each game
- More experienced referee’s will work the older age groups (11U and older)
- Championship games will have three (3) referees (11U and older)
- Center + 2 Assistant Referee’s
- Referee rates are competitive with local soccer tournaments
