Luis Medrano

Luis is an Alexandria native who played at a high level for many local clubs and Mount Vernon High School (State Champs 2013). He started GK training in 2016 at Old Dominion University, began assistant coaching with DC Scores in 2018, then coaching in ASA's Academy in 2019 and coaching MLSN goalkeepers in 2022. In 2009 Luis visited Buenos Aires to train with Boca Juniors youth academy, and during the Summer of 2023, Luis visited Barcelona to coach an ASA team where he got the opportunity to work and learn from FCB youth academy coaches. Luis is currently a USSF "C" License candidate.
