Coach

Nathan Young

The best thing about soccer for Coach Nathan is that it allows him to connect with people from all over the world. Nathan traveled to Europe every summer with his youth soccer team and discovered the shared love and passion for football everywhere he went. Nathan played professionally for two years in Thailand before moving to Holland to study for a master’s degree in anthropology. During his studies, Nathan coached a team made up of refugees from all over the world in soccer and futsal.

He shares a love of dogs with the rest of the ASA coaches and one day hopes to board dogs in acres of space where they can run until their tails fall off. His favorite soccer player was JJ Okocha because you never knew what he was going to do next. If Nathan could live anywhere in the world, he would choose somewhere in South America for the weather, food, music and of course…their passion for soccer!
