Tim Lenzo

Coach Tim has coached at ASA for almost a decade, working in almost every program from Academy to Junior Academy to Ball Mastery to Camps. In addition to coaching many Academy teams over the past few years Tim also leads ASA's nationally recognized Futsal League in the winter. His passion and commitment is easy to see when he's on the field with his players.

When he's not coaching Tim likes to go for runs and hang out with his three rescue dogs, Cocoa, Meatball and Hazel! Coach Tim's soccer hero is Lionel Messi. He remembers watching him play when he made his debut for Barcelona and has been following his career ever since. Messi's ability (especially when younger) to fight through tackles and stay on his feet even when being fouled was something Tim always admired.

When asked about his dream job Tim said, "True success is finding something you love and getting paid for it. I truly believe coaching soccer and mentoring young players is my dream job and I am thankful every moment I am out on the pitch and working with players, from first time Rec players to long time Academy players!"
