What is Advanced Ball Mastery?

Ball Mastery comes from repeatedly working with the ball at a game speed that pushes you to the edge of your comfort zone. As a result, players are able to act more instinctually on the field to elude pressure or beat a defender for a goal scoring opportunity.

Coaches

Tim Lenzo is currently the U11 Boys Black & U12 Boys Black head coach. He has been on the Alexandria coaching staff since 2017 and has previous experience with Baltimore Bays and lead multiple Stars FC teams to futsal state championships. His playing experience includes youth club soccer in Maryland and was a youth club futsal state champion. He holds a USSF "E" License.

 

 

Junior Academy Program Director | Grigor Boychev is currently the U11/12 Boys   Red head coach. He holds a BS in Tourism Management from CEA (Plovdiv, Bulgaria). He has more than 10 years of coaching experience at Alexandria & ODP. He was named the VYSA  State Coach of the Year in 2015 and Alexandria Soccer Coach of the Year in 2014. His   playing experience includes Maritza Plovdiv (Bulgarian Semi-Professional) and won a national youth championship with the same club. He holds the USSF "B" License, & National Youth   License. Grigor can be reached by email

 

 


Ben Hawkins is currently the U11 Boys Blue & U12 Boys Blue head coach. He holds a BS in Sports Management from Wilmington College. He joined the Alexandria coaching staff in 2017 and has experience in many of the club's youth programs. His playing experience includes Varsity Men's Soccer at Wilmington College and youth club soccer with Dayton United. He holds a USSF "E" License.

 

 

 

Katie Brooks is currently the U13 Girls Blue head coach. She holds a BA in Rhetoric and Political   Communication from William Jewell College and Master's in Media and Communication Studies from Florida State University. She has coached at Alexandria since 2016 and previously coached for Hammer's Soccer Club in Florida. Her playing experience includes Varsity Women's Soccer at   William Jewell College (1st Team All-Conference & Academic All-American). She holds a USSF   "E"  License.

 

 



Daniel Chefena is currently the U11 Boys White & U12 Boys White head coach. He has been an  Alexandria coach since 2013 and has experience with many programs within the club. He has youth playing experience in his home country of Eritrea. He holds a USSF "D" License.
